Shipping policy
Welcome to SALSAMED! To ensure that your order – from pure, natural primal salt to our solid salt chalices – arrives safely and transparently, here is all the information regarding our shipping processes.
1. Shipping Destinations
We deliver to the following European Union countries:
Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
Shipping to other countries – both within and outside the EU – is currently not available.
2. Shipping Rates
Our natural products, especially the solid salt chalices, have a high item weight. Shipping costs are therefore calculated based on the total weight of your order. The respective weight tier and exact shipping price will be displayed automatically at checkout. Due to the heavy product weight, we cannot offer free shipping – however, starting from the highest weight tier, a flat maximum rate applies, covering all additional weight. This makes larger orders particularly worthwhile for you.

3. Logistics Partner & Delivery
All parcels are dispatched insured via DHL.
Parcel Lockers: Delivery to parcel lockers (e.g., DHL Packstation) is currently not supported. Please provide a standard street address as your delivery address.
4. Delivery Times & Processing
We process your orders with utmost care. Our scheduled DHL pickups take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 09:00 AM.
- Processing Time: Orders placed after 09:00 AM on a pickup day will be dispatched on the following pickup date.
- Delivery Time within Germany: usually 2–4 business days.
- Delivery Time to other countries: usually 2–8 business days, depending on the destination country.
The estimated delivery date is also displayed directly at checkout.
5. Order Tracking
As soon as your parcel leaves our warehouse, you will automatically receive an email confirmation containing your tracking number. This allows you to track your delivery status online at any time.
6. Transport Damage
Our products are packed securely. Should a chalice or any other item arrive damaged, please report this within 3 days of receipt:
- Take a photo of the damaged product and the packaging.
- Send the photo along with your order number via email or using our claim form on the contact page.
- We will review and process your request within a maximum of 8 days.
7. Returns (Right of Withdrawal)
If you wish to return a product, you may do so under your statutory right of withdrawal. Please note that the direct cost of returning the goods is to be borne by the buyer.
